Texas Community Project is lobbying to reduce air pollution and protect the health of Texas families and workers. Texas leads the nation in the emissions of toxins, air pollutants, and greenhouse gases. Most of our major cities fail to comply with national air quality standards. We can change that through improved monitoring, increased use of renewable energy such as wind and solar power, better enforcement of current environmental laws, and by restoring public involvement in decision-making. |
